New here?

We know it can be confusing wondering where to begin when you've never done anything like this before. If you're brand new to pole and aerial, here's all the info you need on how to start with us!

If you're new to KPole, but have experience with pole or aerial, drop us a message and we can point you in the right direction for a class that suits your level.

Inroductory courses

If you're brand new to pole, our 6 week introductory course might be just the thing for you!

The course has been designed by us to give you an overall introduction to the world of pole fitness. We work at a slow pace to ensure you understand movements and to prevent injury.

Its also great if you're a little nervous about joining, as everyone starts on the same day and no one has any experience of pole, so its a great way to bond with your fellow students and make some friends!

You can find our more info about our 6 week courses by clicking here, or find out the next start date for your chosen studio by clicking here!

Prefer PAy as you go?

We have pay as you go beginner classes for both aerial hoop and pole fitness. These are perfect if you can't commit to the same day and time each week, the only difference from the intro course is that not everyone in the class will be new, but we promise they're all very welcoming and lovely!

If you're looking at starting pole fitness classes, then you would be looking for either 'Beginner 1 Pole' or 'Mixed Beginner Pole' classes on the timetable. If you're looking for aerial hoop classes, then look out for our 'Beginner Aerial Hoop' classes.

You can access our timetable here, just remember to filter for your desired studio at the top of the page, it can look very confusing otherwise!

what to wear and bring to your first class!

Once you sign up for your first class or course with KPole you will receive an email straight away with lots more information on what to wear to your class, what to bring, some info on how to find us and where to park. Make sure you check your junk mail as we quite often end up in there!

If you're attending your first aerial class we recommend wearing leggings and a tight fitting top. You want lots of clothing to cover you, but we want it to be fairly tight fitting so that we don't risk it getting caught anywhere.

For your first pole class we recommend wearing shorts and a vest top or T-shirt. You will be using your skin to grip the pole, so having the backs of your knees out is very helpful for lots of pole moves! We also ask that you don't moisturise or fake tan on the day of your pole class, as these things can make the poles slippy and make it more dangerous for you and others using the poles.

Bring some water with you! All of our studios have facilities for you to refill water bottles and changing areas you are welcome to use. Most of all, try not to be too nervous and get ready to learn some new awesome skills!
